		<description>Just another chapter in the Pfizer saga of mergers and layoff. People should know by now the track record of Pfizer. They continue to do the same things after mergers. Just come and make a visit to Ann Arbor, and Kalamazoo Michigan. I was employed for 24 years and lost my job 2 years ago. I wish those that have and those that will lose their jobs the best.  BTW there is life &quot;after Pfizer&quot;.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s outrageous that MDS executives were offered retention packages (payable to them upon the successful sale of MDS Pharma Services) to stay with the company to help sell off MDS Pharma Services. In the case of Pharma Services, where 225 employees will be let go over the next 12 months, the business was put up for sale and everyone was told that if a suitable buyer could not be found, they would continue to invest in the company. I don&#039;t think they were being truthful when they said this. Afterall, what incentive did they have to hold out for a more suitable solution for all employees if they knew that the moment they sold off the company, they would be paid their retention packages, which in several cases was in the millions of dollars. Why isn&#039;t someone in government or the media taking a look at this and investigating or writing about it? I think this deserves to be looked into. </description>
